For over seven decades, the clothing store Maurices has been growing a large fan base. Currently there are over 750 stores in 44 states across the country and a website availble if you would rather shop online.
It is amazing to think that such a \”small\” enterprise could have grown to be so large, but it has, and it has even been able to offer a Maurices credit card for the dedicated fans of the store.
The Maurices credit card is backed by a large financial institution and the card can be used online as well as in person. What makes this card different is the savings and offers they extend to their dedicated customers.
For example, those using their Maurices credit card for the very first time get an automatic ten percent discount on their purchase in the store. When they accept the Maurices credit card package and plan, they also get a special fifteen percent discount.
The card is also unique in that it has no annual fee and makes a \”thirty days same as cash\” offer available on a constant basis. What does that mean?
What it means is that if you pay your balance in full before the end of each billing cycle, you won\’t be charged any finance charges, which is interest, on your purchases.
For instance, let\’s say you are a student who loves the gorgeous clothes at Maurices; you could go into the store and open an account. Once approved you would get a ten percent discount.
You would then get a special fifteen percent savings through your membership. If you could prove that you are a student, you would be able to qualify for their special program if you applied for the card at a store location.
Also, once you have an account with Maurices, you will receive advanced notice of all the sales and promotions that they will run. This advanced notice can actually save you money if you plan right. What if you were planning on buying something in particular and come to find out it was going to be on sale within the next couple of weeks. Simply waiting for it to come on sale keeps money in your pocket.
Clearly, this sort of dedication to customer satisfaction is why the store has expanded from its first location in Duluth, Minnesota back in the 1930s.
