After this, there are two ways to progress. Some people choose to register for a four year bachelor degree and attain while others opt for the shorter associate. For those who think the associate is appropriate, you can go on to the bachelor once you are through with it.

Some pundits have the view that those who pass through that associate stage make better professionals. When asked to explain, the proponents of this theory claim that you gain extra experience in these first two years. They say the four year straight study tries to achieve too much in a little time. Not all people agree on this point, and the decision is yours to make.

Nursing degree programs are good because there are some things that only a registered nurse can do. A registered nurse is allowed to take charge of a patient. You will be making assessments of their illnesses and deciding on the care they are receiving. It is obvious that moving from one stage to another is easy.
